To draw borders:
1. Mark the size and dimensions of one side of the outer and inner borders on a rough sheet.
2. Use these as reference points for the other side and join the dots.
3. Remove the extra edge of the sheet.
4. Using a fine line brush and a ruler, draw the outer and inner borders. Choose the brush size according to the desired line thickness (e.g., 0, 00, 000).
5. Hold the brush so that your middle and/or ring finger touches the edge of the ruler, sliding along its edge for a straight line.
6. Hold the brush between the thumb and index finger, supported by the middle finger, keeping it as straight as possible.
7. Ensure the color consistency is wet, with an equal mix of color and water.
8. Practice drawing a dummy line by holding the brush above the paper and sliding your fingers against the ruler edge.
9. Lower the brush once ready for the straight line.
Mastering these techniques enhances the precision and beauty of Indian Miniature Art.
